There was no shortage of laughs during our game of Penny Pinching!
Residents put their aim to the test as they tossed pennies toward their favorite snacks, calling out which treat they were hoping to win before each toss. From sweet treats to friendly competition, everyone had a great time cheering each other on and seeing who would take home their favorite goodies!

🍋💛 When life gives you lemons… we throw a LEMONADE PARTY! 💛🍋
Our Lemonade Event was full of sunshine, smiles, and plenty of sweet memories! 🌞🍋 Our amazing staff dressed in their best yellow and lemon-themed attire, bringing the fun and festive spirit to life. 💛👗🍋
Residents and visitors enjoyed refreshing lemonade with a variety of delicious flavored syrups—there was a flavor for everyone! 🍓🫐🍑🍋 And of course, we couldn’t forget the delicious lemon-inspired desserts to make the celebration extra sweet. 🧁🍋🍰

It’s always a great time for a “Happy” Happy Hour at Caretta Eau Claire!
Our featured drink this time was a tropical Malibu Sunrise, bringing a splash of sunshine to the afternoon. Residents enjoyed trying the special drink, visiting with friends, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

Another round of themed bingo was a hit at Caretta Eau Claire! This time, we took a trip down memory lane with a fun selection of retro-inspired prizes, including glass bottle sodas, vinyl records, Rubik’s Cubes, troll dolls, and more.
There was plenty of excitement as numbers were called, prizes were won, and everyone enjoyed a little nostalgia along the way. We’re already looking forward to our next themed bingo!

Our residents had a wonderful time making chocolate-covered pretzels using almond bark and colorful sprinkles. Everyone enjoyed getting creative with their decorations, and of course, the best part was sampling the delicious finished treats. It was a fun afternoon filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of sweet bites!

Our Memory Care residents put their sense of touch to the test with a fun game of What’s in the Box? Mystery items were hidden inside, and everyone had the chance to feel around and guess what was inside without taking a peek.
There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and creative guesses along the way. Activities like this are a great way to encourage conversation, stimulate the senses, and keep everyone engaged while having fun together at Caretta Eau Claire.

Recently, our art lovers took on a detailed canvas painting project. Swapping broad strokes for fine-liner brushes takes patience, focus, and a steady hand—and the results speak for themselves. Watching a canvas come alive in tiny, intentional layers is incredible, but seeing the focus and joy around the table is the best part.

We were delighted to welcome Senora Julson, a Spanish teacher at Colfax High School, who presented on her recent trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands.
Last month, Senora Julson took 15 of her Spanish students on an unforgettable journey where they learned all about the geography, history, and culture of Ecuador. They even had the chance to see giant turtles up close! Their itinerary was packed with exciting activities, including visits to a chocolate factory, scenic hikes, and time relaxing at the beach.

We had a fantastic time out at Tuesday Night Blues yesterday evening, enjoying a wonderful live performance by Jeni Grouws!

There’s always something special about a visit from Dan Lerum! Residents were excited to welcome him back for another wonderful performance filled with favorite songs and familiar tunes. One of the things they enjoy most is that Dan takes the time to ask for song requests, making each performance personal and interactive.
