Sweet treats and even sweeter moments at Caretta Eau Claire!
Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative together while decorating cupcakes! From colorful sprinkles to delicious toppings, the table was full of laughter, conversation, and plenty of fun. It’s always special to see everyone sharing smiles and enjoying time together, especially when there’s something homemade involved.

🎵 We were so lucky to have Jordan Herrick Music join us at Caretta Eau Claire — with his lovely wife by his side — for a live acoustic performance that filled our community with warmth, joy, and some wonderful tunes! 🎸❤️
Our residents loved every moment, and it showed! There’s nothing quite like the power of live music to bring people together.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Al Thompson from the Center for the Blind to Caretta for an insightful presentation on visual impairment.
Al shared valuable resources and practical ways to maintain independence while navigating vision challenges—offering helpful tips that truly resonated with our residents. The session was met with great feedback, with many attendees noting how informative and empowering the presentation was.
We’re always grateful for opportunities like this that bring knowledge, support, and meaningful conversations into our community.

We spent the afternoon creating beautiful pressed flower door hangers, each one uniquely designed with vibrant colors and personal touches. From carefully placing each petal to seeing the finished pieces come to life, it was a wonderful way to relax, connect, and enjoy the moment together.

🍓 Smoothie Day at Caretta! 🍌
Our amazing residents got to try something new — smoothies! For many of them, it was their very first sip, and the smiles say it all. 😄
We blended up some delicious creations while learning about the wonderful health benefits packed into every cup — from vitamins and antioxidants to easy-to-digest nutrition. Who knew healthy could taste so good?

We traded our usual morning routine for something a little more exciting today — chair basketball! Our residents brought their A-game, passing, catching, and showing off moves we didn’t even know they had. The smiles, the laughs, and the friendly competition made it one for the books.

His kindness toward both residents and fellow staff members truly sets him apart. There was a wonderful sense of warmth and connection at Caretta Eau Claire recently when Heartland Hospice stopped by to host a special Cookies & Coffee gathering with our residents.
It was a beautiful opportunity to slow down, share a sweet treat, enjoy a hot cup of coffee, and spend some meaningful time together. We are so grateful for the kindness and care that Heartland Hospice brings to our community, and we look forward to continuing this special relationship.
