Caretta Bellevue is located off I-43 and Manitowoc Road, making it easy for friends and family to visit. This central, urban location offers a serene setting while being close to retail, airports, and healthcare.
With plenty of luxurious gathering spaces, our community is welcoming for residents, families, and friends. We also provide social programming to help residents form new and lasting friendships.
Oops! Somehow lots of our nuts, bolts, screws, and washers got mixed together.. but several of our residents were quick to lend a helping hand! Working together, they carefully sorted everything back where it belonged and made quick work of the big mess. 🔩

Just in time for Mother’s Day, our residents created beautiful fragrance flowers filled with color and sweet scents. 🌸💕
Each person chose their own fragrance oil and carefully colored the tips of their flowers, then watched over the next few days as the oil traveled through the petals and brought the blooms to life with soft, vibrant colors.
A simple but meaningful activity that turned into something truly beautiful—just like the mothers, grandmothers, and special women we look up to. 🤍

Our first puzzle competition was a great time! 🧩
Four teams competed put their skills to the test in a 100-piece puzzle race, each working on a different puzzle and competing to see who could finish first. The room was full of focus, determination, and plenty of laughs as the competition heated up!

The best part of motherhood looks a little different for everyone — the hugs, the laughter, the life lessons, the proud moments, and the unconditional love that never fades. 💐 Our residents shared their favorite memories and joys of being a mother, grandmother, stepmom, bonus mom, and mother figure.

We turned old book pages into something blooming beautiful 🌸📚
We recently spent the afternoon recycling worn book pages into beautiful floral displays, giving forgotten stories a brand new chapter. With folded pages, bright flowers, and lots of creativity, each arrangement turned into a unique masterpiece made with love. 💛

This week we’re celebrating the heart of our care team during National Nurses Week 💙
Paige, our LPN, is known for the genuine connections she builds with residents and staff, her quick problem-solving skills, and always stepping in wherever she’s needed. No task is too small when it comes to helping others.
Emily, our Director of Nursing, is known for her strong knowledge, and dedication to providing the best care possible for our residents each day.
We are so grateful for the compassion, teamwork, and support these amazing nurses bring to our community. This week and every week, thank you for all you do! 👏

We loved partnering with our local fire station for Brew with the Brave ☕🚒
Our residents enjoyed meaningful conversations and learning more about what happens behind the scenes at the fire station! For example, we learned that each fire fighter takes turns doing the daily grocery shopping to make meals for the whole team working that 24hr shift. Guess they have to be chefs and firefighters 😉
Many residents were surprised to learn that the Bellevue Fire Department transitioned from a local department to Station #9 of the Green Bay Metro Fire Department (GBMFD) in January of 2021. 🔥
It was an informative, engaging morning that built understanding, connection, and appreciation for those who serve our community. We can’t thank the four firefighters enough for coming! And thanks for keeping our community safe 💪🏼🧑🚒

Taco ‘bout a good time! 🌮
One small swing turned into a full-on cheering section as everyone gave their best shot at breaking open that piñata. Let’s just say that piñata didn’t know what hit it—and neither did a few of us! A sweet (and slightly competitive) way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! 🎉

Caretta Derby Day 2026! 🐎
We broke out the hats again!! Our virtual horse race, with horses named after our residents, had everyone laughing and getting competitive in the best way. We finished our day by rewatching the Kentucky Derby and enjoying cucumber sandwiches. It’s safe to say that everyone felt like a winner by the end of the day!

Sorting, matching, and a whole lot of focus 🎨🧠
Today we worked on matching colorful balls to their coordinating spots—simple, fun, and full of purpose! Activities like this help strengthen hand-eye coordination, color recognition, and problem-solving skills.
Even more importantly, reaching across the body to place each ball helps with crossing the midline—a key skill that supports brain communication between both sides, improves coordination, and can even aid in tasks like reading, writing, and daily movement.

Lunch with the Ladies at Sammy’s Pizza was a hit! 🍕
When we pick places to go, we like to choose foods we don’t always get at home, and this one checked all the boxes. ✔️The pizza (with sausages the size of our heads!), pasta, and sandwiches offered plenty of variety to fit everyone’s interests. Good food, good company, and a good time!

We love the opportunity to make something uniquely our own, and our stop at Luna Glo Candle Bar did just that! 🕯️
With over 100 scents available—from soft florals like lavender and vanilla to bold picks like leather and tobacco—there was something for every nose. 👃🏼After blending their scent picks into warm wax, they poured into specially picked jars to create something truly one of a kind. We can’t wait to show off our custom creations back at home!

Our monthly “Breakfast with the Boys” crew had a few raised eyebrows when Hannah’s restaurant pick showed up on the calendar… but she won them over in the end 😉

Full plates, good laughs, and not a single complaint by the time we left—safe to say Hannah knew what she was doing after all! 🥚☕️🥓

Rebekah, our Director of Dining, showed us step-by-step how she makes elote, or Mexican street corn! Residents got to watch the whole process, ask questions, and of course stick around for the best part—trying it for themselves. Safe to say there weren’t many leftovers 😋

We’re getting a jump start on gardening season 🌱
Residents spent time planting veggies and flowers, giving them a good start indoors while we wait for Wisconsin to finally warm up (and stay that way!). Once the frost is gone for good, everything will be transplanted outside. 🍅🥕🌸
We also made some colorful garden stakes to add a little extra personality to our gardens—no two are the same, and that’s our favorite part. Now comes the fun of watching everything grow 🌼
