In the afternoon, we headed to the wildlife sanctuary and got to see so many awesome animals! We sure felt lucky that so many of the animals wanted to say hi to us!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch at Bel Meadow park in Bellevue. It was a beautiful day to sit and eat outside, share stories and listen to the birds sing. We hope to be going on multiple picnic lunches at various parks in the area this summer!

To begin spring with a bang, we painted colorful planter pots that we will eventually put soil in and pick out seeds and watch them grow!

Ready, aim, FIRE! 💥 We loved testing our aim with target practice!
The laughter from participants was loud enough to get residents poking their heads out of their apartments asking what all the commotion is about! For an added challenge, we adjusted how far away targets were and changed the height of our towers.

Got some 'peeps' together to have some 'eggs'tra fun! 🐥🐰
Peep stacking, egg towers, and jelly bean memory provided great opportunities to practice our fine motor skills, grip, and dexterity. Plus, they were a fantastic treat when we were finished!

Our Memory Care residents' senses were put to the test with a What's In The Egg activity! 🥚🐰
Residents got to smell and listen to each egg to guess what was inside. The easiest to identify? Coffee grounds! The hardest? Minced garlic. ☕🧄 We loved a good challenge!
