This new community is located at the intersection of SR-35 and HWY-53 in the fast-growing, vibrant Seven Bridges Corridor. Caretta Holmen’s location is convenient for friends and family to visit and boasts scenic views of river bluffs and nature preserves.
With plenty of luxurious gathering spaces, our community is welcoming for residents, families, and friends. We also provide social programming to help residents form new and lasting friendships.

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day of creativity, connection, and a little sweetness. They made beautiful bracelets, some to keep for themselves and others to share with their loved ones.
The camaraderie and conversations shared throughout the activities made the day even more special. It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying each other’s company, creating meaningful memories, and simply having fun together! 💕

Bingo Night at Caretta! 🎉
The Holmen Lutheran Confirmation group came to Caretta to play Bingo with our residents, and it was such a wonderful evening!
Our residents have definitely missed this group. They come once a month on Wednesday evenings during the school year, and their visits are always something to look forward to. ❤️
There were lots of smiles, laughter, and great conversations happening throughout the evening — not to mention plenty of winning! 🏆🎉
We are so thankful for the time these wonderful young people spend with our residents. We always enjoy having you here! 💕

What a truly special and heartwarming day we had at Caretta in Holmen! ❤️
We were incredibly blessed to welcome the La Crosse Oktoberfest Royal Family for a wonderful visit filled with laughter, music, dancing, clapping, singing, and so many beautiful smiles. 🎶💃👏
Seeing the joy on our residents’ faces as they sang along, danced, and celebrated together was absolutely priceless. These are the moments that create memories we treasure, and we are so grateful to have shared such a meaningful day together.
We were also honored to take time to recognize and celebrate our veterans, whose service and sacrifice mean so much to us. 🇺🇸❤️

🐦🦅 What an amazing day of birding! 🌿
Our residents had a fantastic time at the Trempealeau Wildlife Refuge! We were lucky to have Dana as our tour guide, who shared an incredible presentation about the beautiful birds of Trempealeau and the amazing Mississippi River Bird Migration.
It was a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, learn something new, enjoy nature, and make some great memories together! 💚

Everyone cast their votes for their favorites, and we crowned our very own Carettafestmaster and Frau! 👑🍺 What an honor!

The amazing Mr. Tom Conrad stopped by and brought his high energy, incredible talent, and fantastic music! Our residents had a blast singing along, tapping their toes, and enjoying all those beloved “Oldies but Goodies!” ❤️🎵

What a fun day we had! We headed to the Onalaska Library to enjoy a wonderful presentation about The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter. 📚✨
Afterward, we continued our adventure with lunch at Features in Holmen! 🍽️😋
It was such a great day filled with learning, laughter, good food, and wonderful company. ❤️
Our residents absolutely LOVE going out to lunch, and we’re always happy to see their smiles! 😊

We had an absolutely magical day at Caretta in Holmen!!
We were treated to an incredible magic show performed by The Magic of Isaiah, and he was amazing! Our residents were completely captivated by his magic and amazed by every trick.
Some members of the audience thought they had figured out how he performed a trick, only to be surprised and awestruck by the big reveal!
The smiles, laughter, and excitement made for such a wonderful afternoon.
We’re already counting down the days until Isaiah comes back!!

What an Exciting day!! Biggest Bingo group we have had so far!!
The residents had a great time playing Bingo!!
The camaraderie between them is absolutely wonderful. They were helping each other and clapping for one another when bingo was yelled.
The Holmen Homemakers Association came to call Bingo and had an amazing time with our resident’s!!
We are very fortunate to have such wonderful volunteers in our community! Thank you for all you do for our residents!

The Triple Nickel Band came to Caretta and was an absolutely fantastic time.
The dancing began and the residents were soon enjoying the music! They also watched with smiles as their friends, neighbors and staff were dancing!
Not only did we enjoy the band we also enjoyed a refreshing summer treat. Root Beer Floats!!! Yum!!!

We have a wonderful volunteer who comes often to share her time and talents with all of us here at Caretta.
Sheryl came to do chain painting. The residents love doing this activity. The art the comes by using simple chains and paints is very inspiring!
Masterpieces were made by the residents creativity!

Greg Grokowsky came and played exceptional music for us here at Caretta. He has a way of getting the residents dancing and singing along with him.

We had an amazing outing to Ferguson’s Orchard in Galesville! The morning’s weather was not being cooperative, but the sun came out as we were leaving from Caretta!! 🍎🍎☀️
Not only do they have delicious apples and apple cider, they have animals! They have baby ducklings, goats and chickens! 🐓🐐🐥🦆
Our host also shared a little history on the orchard and the families who owned it throughout the years. She was an amazing host!
The residents enjoyed listening about the past history and also shared stories of their own.

We had a great turnout for our bingo day!
The room was filled with hope and anticipation on winning a bingo game!! Some residents won two games!! Some shared their winnings. It was a great day for bingo!!

Abbey Lane never disappoints us here at Caretta in Holmen. Her beautiful voice carries through the halls and lifts everyone’s spirits.
