This new community is located at the intersection of SR-35 and HWY-53 in the fast-growing, vibrant Seven Bridges Corridor. Caretta Holmen’s location is convenient for friends and family to visit and boasts scenic views of river bluffs and nature preserves.
With plenty of luxurious gathering spaces, our community is welcoming for residents, families, and friends. We also provide social programming to help residents form new and lasting friendships.
The Triple Nickel Band came to Caretta and was an absolutely fantastic time.
The dancing began and the residents were soon enjoying the music but they also watched the friends and neighbors dance away!
Not only did we enjoy the band we also enjoyed a refreshing summer treat. Root Beer Floats!!! Yum!!!

Another fun game of Granny Pants! Plus a birthday celebration!! The big 90!!! Whoot Whoot!! Now that is a great smile Mr. M !!
Laughing can be heard throughout the building with this game!!
I’m not sure who was smiling more. The staff or the residents!

We have a wonderful volunteer who comes often to share her time and talents with all of us here at Caretta.
Sheryl came to do chain painting. The residents love doing this activity. The art the comes by using simple chains and paints is very inspiring!
Masterpieces were made by the residents creativity!

Greg Grokowsky came and played exceptional music for us here at Caretta. He has a way of getting the residents dancing and singing along with him. 
As you can see in the many pictures, the residents just adore Greg!!! Smiles galore!

We had an amazing outing to Ferguson’s Orchard in Galesville! The morning’s weather was not being cooperative, but the sun came out as we were leaving from Caretta!! 🍎🍎☀️
Not only do they have delicious apples and apple cider, they have animals! They have baby ducklings, goats and chickens! 🐓🐐🐥🦆
Our host also shared a little history on the orchard and the families who owned it throughout the years. She was an amazing host!
The residents enjoyed listening about the past history and also shared stories of their own.

We had a great turnout for our bingo day!
The room was filled with hope and anticipation on winning a bingo game!! Some residents won two games!! Some shared their winnings. It was a great day for bingo!!
The smiles and applause for the winning residents was absolutely wonderful and heartwarming!

There’s something to say about good music by a very talented musician!
Abbey Lane never disappoints us here at Caretta in Holmen. Her beautiful voice carries through the halls and lifts everyone’s spirits.
Residents enjoy listening and singing along with Abbey. She puts smiles on all their faces!!

The Holmen Homemakers Association came by to call bingo with the residents!
The residents love playing bingo and the HHA Ladies love to volunteer here at caretta. They also bring some pretty cool prizes!!

We had a Library presentation with Ashley. 📚
We learned about the great resources and programs the Library has to offer.
One of the resources Ashley talked about was an ap called Libby. It allows the residents to be able to listen to audiobooks or read books on their personal devices.
Most of the residents are also getting Library cards and can’t wait for our next outing to the Library!! 💳

Cheeseball fun at Caretta.
Staff and residents were having fun trying to get as many cheeseballs to stick on the shaving cream cap.
Some of the residents decided to eat their cup of cheese balls instead of play the game.

We had a beautiful day for an outing! We ventured to HD Drive-In in Holmen to have ice cream!
The residents were so excited to go to their favorite Drive-In place to have ice cream treats, burgers and fries and of course root beer!
Some reminisced about how they used to go there many years ago, where they always had great service and yummy treats!!

Spontaneous Bingo Day!
Our pontoon outing was cancelled due to nasty weather so we decided to play Bingo!
The resident’s were pretty excited about playing Bingo. It is one of their most favorite activities to do!!

We had an exciting day with Sheryl today!
She brought supplies to make a cool newspaper pot.
The things you can make out of recycled materials is endless!
It was a little tricky getting started but the end product was very cool!
The residents enjoyed trying something new and interesting!
Thank you Sheryl!! You’re an amazing woman who dedicates your time for our residents!

Balloon fun at Caretta in Holmen.
Staff and residents enjoyed a game of “Balloon Toss”.
Instead of morning exercise the staff changed it up and decided to do a game of balloon toss!

What a great day for a pleasure cruise on Lake Onalaska!! All thanks to nasa ( Northern American Squirrel Association).
We seen so many fish jumping out of the water and osprey swooping down to catch one.
We seen the weeder out on the lake, ducks, seagulls, pelicans and an Air Force C130 Cargo Plane!!
