When it’s hot outside we stay indoors where it’s cool!
The residents wanted to get creative with paint. So we painted!!
They enjoyed socializing with one another and discussing their next creative works of art!

We had the pleasure of listening to Dave Kenworthy! He is a new musician that performed for our residents here at Caretta in Holmen!!
Not only did he sing for our residents, but had them play instruments as well. Some even danced to favorite “oldies but goodies” songs!! The rest clapped and sang along!!

What an absolutely beautiful day for a little trip to Elmaro Winery!
The residents were very happy to have a gorgeous day to enjoy some wine tastings and they have the best alcohol free wines for those who cannot have alcohol and feel included in the special day!
They also have local bread, meats and cheese trays to enjoy. Which we enjoyed as well.
The staff at Elmaro was excellent and provided great service.

This game is so well loved at Caretta! They can’t wait for the next Bingo day!
They love collecting their Bingo Bucks so they can spend them on prizes!

The Caring Carolers came to Caretta in Holmen today!
We are very blessed to have these lovely ladies come and sing for us.
They handed out shakers and bells to play and sing along.
It turns out we had a resident who used to sing with this group.
So they invited her up and she sang amazing grace with them.
What a wonderful afternoon!

So today we celebrated the upcoming marriage of one of our Employees!
It was a special surprise! She didn’t know we all had a hand in planning her bridal shower party!
The residents and staff had a great time Celebrating with her!!! Congratulations!!!!

It was National gummy worm day and what better way to celebrate than make dirt cups with gummy worms! 🪱
It was a fun process of adding all the ingredients and then of course the fun part….eating them!!

Dollar Tree adventures and finds!
The residents love going to the Dollar Tree. They add new items all the time. You never know what they might have.
We didn’t get a lot of pictures. But sure had fun picking out all kinds trinkets and of course the necessities!

We had a full house for L & L music( LaVonne and Leland Weir).
The residents enjoyed the oldies music and the stories she told with the music!

Tasty banana splits to simple servings of vanilla ice cream.
The residents love having ice cream! 🍦🍨🍧
There were numerous options between fruit and nuts to candies and even magic shell.
The residents had an enjoyable time eating ice cream and socializing!!!

Bingo stands out as a highly popular activity among our residents, who would relish the opportunity to play daily.

Dancing and singing bring immense joy, and that's what life is all about!
We had the pleasure of hosting Dan and Renee Foster at Caretta in Holmen. Dan played the saxophone, while Renee sang and danced with our residents who made requests and even sang into the microphone themselves.
The residents were dancing and singing along, their faces beaming with delight, clearly enjoying every moment.

Birthday bash and an excellent performance by Abbey Lane!!!
The residents enjoyed singing, dancing and not to mention the shakers that Abbey brings with her for the residents to play!!
One of our residents even sang a traditional family Birthday song for one of our residents for his birthday.

It was an excellent day for a pontoon ride on Lake Onalaska. The residents love getting out and about, especially on the water.
We saw pelicans, turtles, and even baby turtles.
We appreciate N.A.S.A ( North American Squirrel Association) and the volunteers for their dedication in getting people out and about!!! Thank you!!!
