Sassy Cynda's Music delivered an outstanding performance at Caretta in Holmen, which was truly delightful. Her piano skills were mesmerizing, with fingers that seemed to dance over the keys.
The residents were deeply touched by the beauty of her music. Her performance was absolutely exquisite.

Caretta in Holmen recently hosted The Lutheran Confirmation group for an enjoyable Bingo evening with our residents.
The group has thoroughly enjoyed coming to Caretta and playing bingo and would like to continue with us on an ongoing basis. We are delighted that they want to continue coming even though confirmation is coming to an end. We are looking forward to their return! ❤️❤️❤️

Crafty Creations were produced using specialized puffy paint that glows in the dark and canvas bags. The residents thoroughly enjoyed making these very cute bags.

Today's excursion to Granddads Bluff in La Crosse was outstanding. Although the wind was somewhat brisk, the sunshine enhanced the experience. It was indeed a beautiful day!!!
The residents appreciated the exceptional view, with some remarking it was their first visit, while others recalled visiting when they were younger. All expressed enthusiasm about returning and possibly having a picnic!

The exceptionally gifted Abbey Lane visited Caretta to showcase her remarkable vocal and guitar skills.

The Holmen Ukulele Group (HUG) delivered an exceptional performance at Caretta in Holmen, entertaining the residents with their music.
The residents enthusiastically sang along to the songs. It was a truly remarkable experience.

The Onalaska Library's Senior Moments program is an excellent resource for seniors. The library welcomed Mr. Dave, a skilled presenter with the Fox Folk Marionettes, who brought some impressively preserved, vintage marionettes. The program's engaging content generated significant interest and discussion among the attendees, who had many questions.

Yesterday marked Pineapple Upside Down Cake Day, which prompted us to create this delightful dessert. We reflected on residents' baking experiences on the farm or with their parents, hearing wonderful stories in the process. The residents thoroughly enjoyed the cake and graciously shared it with the staff.

Today's visit from the dedicated Homemakers Association volunteers brought a fun-filled Bingo session to our residents. The ladies' visits always culminate in an enjoyable time as they play and manage the Bingo game. Residents were completely absorbed in the game, their expressions reflecting their enthusiasm. The high level of participation led to a depletion of BingoBucks, necessitating an emergency print run.

Today is National Golfers Day. ⛳️🏌️🏌️♀️🏌️♂️⛳️
A number of our residents used to be avid golfers. So we decided to play a little golf on the green!! Mixed in with Happy Hour and appetizers geared towards a golf theme!
The smiles on their faces today are truly priceless. ❤️
