Today, we were treated to an outstanding show by Greg Grokowsky. His enthusiasm is contagious and gets everyone moving, singing along!!

Tasty banana splits to simple servings of vanilla ice cream.

There were numerous options between fruit and nuts to candies and even magic shell.

Dancing and singing bring immense joy, and that's what life is all about!
We had the pleasure of hosting Dan and Renee Foster at Caretta in Holmen. Dan played the saxophone, while Renee sang and danced with our residents who made requests and even sang into the microphone themselves.
The residents were dancing and singing along, their faces beaming with delight, clearly enjoying every moment.

250 years America!! We started our Fourth of July early by making shirts!

Birthday bash and an excellent performance by Abbey Lane!!!
The residents enjoyed singing, dancing and not to mention the shakers that Abbey brings with her for the residents to play!!
One of our residents even sang a traditional family Birthday song for one of our residents for his birthday.

It was an excellent day for a pontoon ride on Lake Onalaska. The residents love getting out and about, especially on the water.
We saw pelicans, turtles, and even baby turtles.
We appreciate N.A.S.A ( North American Squirrel Association) and the volunteers for their dedication in getting people out and about!!! Thank you!!!

Tom Conrad's guitar performances are clearly a highlight for the residents, who delight in singing along to his renditions of beloved songs. The event was further enhanced by our participation, as we accompanied Tom on tambourines. It was truly a great day.

Celebrating Father's Day. Our community came together for a Happy Hour gathering with snacks, where residents and their families participated in fishing activities to win prizes. The residents had an enjoyable time.

The LAHCE(LaCrosse Association for Home and Education) ladies came to play Bingo with our residents!

During our visit to the International Friendship Gardens in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, we marveled at the beautiful flowers and fish. The gardens, showcasing countries from around the globe, were meticulously maintained. Our trip also included a stop at Culver's in Onalaska, where we received exceptional service and enjoyed great food!!

Caretta in Holmen is hosting a luau. We have brought a taste of Hawaii to our location. The event featured samples of Hawaiian meatballs and mango salsa, which were well-received. A resident added to the ambiance by playing the ukulele. Fun was had by all!

Tom Conrad, a gifted musician and regular performer at Caretta in Holmen, made a special appearance at our Summer Party. With tambourines in hand, our residents joined in, playing along to Tom's captivating performance, which led to an afternoon filled with vibrant singing, playing, and dancing. It was a wonderful celebration with a truly talented artist.

What do you do on a rainy day? Make crafty wind spinners out of recycled water bottles!!
The residents turned a used water bottle into a one of a kind crafted wind spinner!! Beautiful art in the making!

Game day and pet therapy day coincided today, allowing us to welcome Ona and her owners from Holmen. We appreciate Ona's visits and the joy she brings. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
