We had a great time on Friday reminiscing and having a “ball” at our Night at the Avalon event! We listened to artists such as Roy Orbison, Louis Armstrong, The Everly Brothers, and many more, and we danced to Frankie Yankovic’s polka! 🎶🕺💃🏼It was a lovely time spent with amazing people 💖

Caretta in Holmen has experienced a whirlwind of activity over the past couple of days! We commence each day with exercise, incorporating innovative approaches such as mobility exercises with noodles, which our residents seemed to appreciate. The favorable weather allowed us to venture outdoors and bask in the sunshine. ☀️ Additionally, we hosted a Mexican-themed event, complete with margaritas,chips, and salsa, as well as an armchair travel ✈️ experience, which was met with enthusiasm. 🇲🇽 In the evening, we attended a presentation by author Jim Draeger at our local community center, where he regaled us with tales of Wisconsin's rich history of bars and breweries.🍻❤️

We are celebrating our two-year anniversary today!!! What an incredible day. We organized an open house and showcased a talented band, the Grumpy Old Men Jazz Band! The residents and staff had a wonderful time. One of our notable residents sang with the band. Another resident of ours previously played in the Grumpy Old Men Jazz Band. We are indeed a very fortunate community. ❤️😍🌺
